IRS offices closed today due to budget cuts
Internal Revenue Service offices across the Carolinas and elsewhere in the nation are closed Friday, due to budget cuts caused by sequestration. A Matthews Police Department employee was arrested Thursday and charged with embezzling property that had been confiscated during criminal cases.
