Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Tristan Jarry is considered week-to-week with a lower-body injury, coach Mike Sullivan announced Saturday morning.
Jarry, 26, went the distance in Pittsburgh's 6-3 victory over the New York Islanders on Thursday, turning aside 36 of 39 shots.
He has enjoyed a career season in 2021-22, setting personal bests in wins (34), goals-against average (2.42) and shutouts (four).
Jarry owns a 93-47-13 record with a 2.57 GAA and .915 save percentage in 159 career games (151 starts) with the Penguins.
Casey DeSmith is expected to start for Pittsburgh (43-22-11, 97 points) in Saturday afternoon's game at Boston.
"His game has really evolved over the course of the season," Sullivan said of DeSmith. "I think since the turn of the calendar year, he's put really solid hockey together for us. He's given us a chance to win each and every night."
DeSmith, 30, is 8-4-5 with two shutouts, a 2.94 GAA and .906 save percentage in 21 games (19 starts) this season.
