Delta flight hit by possible lightning, lands safely in Boston

In a statement, Delta said that Flight 2346, an Airbus A220 plane with 85 passengers, landed without incident on September 18 evening
The aircraft is being taken out of service for evaluation in line with typical procedures

BOSTON, Massachusetts: Officials said that a Delta flight from Chicago to Boston that was possibly struck by lightning landed safely at Boston Logan International Airport.

In a statement, Delta said that Flight 2346, an Airbus A220 plane with 85 passengers, landed without incident on September 18 evening.

"As safety is always Delta's top priority, the aircraft is being taken out of service for evaluation in line with our typical procedures," the airline added.
