US imposes visa restrictions on officials aiding illegal immigration

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced new visa restrictions this week. The policy will apply to foreign government officials and others who help people enter the U.S. illegally
The policy will target immigration, customs, airport and port authority officials
The policy will also target others who "knowingly facilitate the transit of aliens intending to illegally immigrate into the United States via the U.S. Southwest border," Rubio said in a statement

WASHINGTON, D.C.: U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio has announced new visa restrictions.

The policy will apply to foreign government officials and others who help people enter the U.S. illegally.
